Notice on the Review of Scholarships for Hong Kong, Macao and Overseas Chinese Students and Scholarships for Taiwan Students in 2024 by Beijing Institute of Technology

According to the Notice of the Ministry of Education on the Evaluation of Scholarships for Hong Kong, Macao and Overseas Chinese Students and Scholarships for Taiwan Students in 2024 (Teaching Assistance Center (2024) No. 30), the university is now carrying out the relevant evaluation workThe contents are as follows:

1. Scope and conditions of selection

Full-time Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan undergraduates, full-time overseas Chinese undergraduates studying in our school。

Application requirements:

(1) Love the motherland, support the policy of "one country, two systems", recognize the One-China, and support the reunification of the motherland;

(2) Consciously abide by the laws and regulations of the state and abide by the rules and regulations of the university;

(3) Be honest and trustworthy, have good moral cultivation, work hard and achieve good results。

2. Quota and award standard

1.Scholarships for Hong Kong, Macao and Overseas Chinese students: 12, 2 first prize, 4 second prize, 6 third prize;

2.Taiwan student scholarship: 3 people, 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 1 third prize;

3.Award standard: First prize 6000 yuan, second prize 5000 yuan, third prize 4000 yuan。

3. Application and evaluation procedures

(1) Before October 14, students apply

1.For scholarships for Hong Kong, Macao and Overseas Chinese students, please fill in the Application Form for Scholarships for Hong Kong, Macao and Overseas Chinese Students (Attachment 1). For scholarships for Taiwan students, please fill in the application Form for Scholarships for Taiwan Students (Attachment 2), fill in the relevant information as required, and submit two copies of the paper version。All results (including the results mentioned in "Awards", "Reasons for application" and "Reasons for recommendation") must be provided with paper proof materials. Sophomore and above students should attach the original transcript of the previous year (with a special teaching seal). Freshmen should provide joint examination transcript。The submitted content is the only material for review, please ensure that it is true and effective。

2.Submit a handwritten signed scholarship application form (Attachment 1 or Attachment 2) in duplicate to your college or college for review。

(2) Before October 16, each college and college shall review and submit the materials

Each college and college will check the authenticity and accuracy of the information filled in by the students, and sign and seal (hand signature) after verification.。Submit the Scholarship application form (Attachment 1 or Attachment 2) in duplicate and all attached materials in hard copy to Zhongguancun Campus, Bathroom White Building 204, Liangxiang Campus, Kefeihong。

(3) School audit

1.The Student Financial Aid Center will organize experts to review the application materials and publish them on the "Campus Announcement" section of the Student Service Center website for 5 working days。

2.After there is no objection to the publicity, it will be submitted to the school's student financial aid leading group for review, and the final list of winners will be determined and reported。

4. Release of funds

The scholarship will be issued to the Merchants bank card registered by the student in the Program Finance Department. Please ensure that the card number is correct and active。
